Rico's Forms:
These poomse were performed by Ric Wade (aka "Rico") on August 6th, 2005 at the BCM where Rico trained until 2006. Rico is the senior belt and assistant instructor of this school. He has a standing invitation to train at his home dojo. One of the reasons "LP3" look so good is because they have trained extensively with Rico. Sorry, but back then, WMV files were the way to go. So that's all we have available. But you can download them and watch any time!
Bekki's Forms:
These poomse were performed by Rebekah May Barreth on August 22nd, 2005 at the BCM where she trains. Bekki is leaving for a missions trip that will span THREE YEARS! We will miss her badly and pray for her safety and a fruitful mission.
Gabriella's Forms:
These poomse were performed by Gabriella Amar on January 19th, 2008 at South Miami Taekwondo on 75th Ave where she trains. Everyone loves her forms and thus have been asking for them to be published online. So finally, here they are! Way to go, Gabriella.
Nahunchi Forms:
These were originally Shotokan Karate forms called the "Tekki" forms. At one point there was one long Tekki form, but over the years they were eventually divided into three different ones.
Enjoy!

One-Step Sparring:
These are drills to develop your vocabulary for countering a punch or any "tsuki" type attack. They are very formalized, like the techniques used in forms. The idea is to use these drills as the ingredients for improvising self-defense techniques. Plus they look really cool:

These are the Bokken Pyoungan forms. These were created by Master Jeff. They are a hybrid of the Taekwondo Pyoungan forms and Bokken Suburi of Aikido. Bokken practice is almost always considered a staple suppliment to Aikido practice and Master Jeff demonstrates here that the bokken can also be used to practice Taekwondo. Interesting forms to say the least.

Kanji:
This is a full and detailed tutorial video on Kanji, an Aikido jo kata developed by Master Jeff. The kata was designed to give the Aikidoka an enjoyable, exciting way to practice several jo suburi. Among the suburi included in the kata are tsuki, ushiro tsuki, gedan gaeshi, tenkan gedan gaeshi, hachi no ji gaeshi and shomenuchi. There are also hybrid techniques derived from other styles of weapon practice. See if you can find the "H pattern" and the "2-handed hachi no ji gaeshi." Obviously, the kata also includes mae geri, or front kicks.
Enjoy

Tai Chi:
This is the Tai Chi Chuan simplified 24 point animal form. Master Jeff was introduced to Tai Chi via an intensive seminar over a long first weekend of March 1997. His long time instructor, Master Katherine Wieczerza, often called in experts from other styles to broaden her and her students' horizons, and this was one such occaision. MJ called his mother to tell her about this wonderful form, thinking she may want to learn it to help her arthritis. His brother, Chuck, beat him to the phone, calling Master Jeff to tell him their mother had collapsed and was in the hospital. He drove 8 hours to see her, only to find her in a coma with a benign brain tumor. After brain surgery and 4 grueling days, she passed away on Thurdasy, March 6, 1997. Since that time, the form has of course had serious sentimental value and he practices it religiously every week, perhaps as a way to stay in spiritual contact with his mother. The form is rich in martial technical value and is also a good way to "heal" from harder martial arts like Aikido and Taekwondo. For file size purposes as well as compartmentalizing the moves, the form is broken into 5 parts, each 1 mb in size. There are also videos of the entire form in 5mb and 10mb file sizes.
Enjoy.

One Minute Lessons:
Here are some quick, basic Taekwondo / martial arts lessons and demonstrations. Each lesson is about 1 minute. The wmv files sizes are all slightly under 1 mb; They're ancient, but they get the job done. And they're dojo HISTORY! In April 2020 during the coronavirus circus, Master Jeff shot new front stance, back stance, and horse stance lessons. Enjoy!

Master Jeff break 8 concrete blocks:
Master Jeff once had a whole classroom full of boys he'd adopted as students who all had to break their first board at their first testing. Some were afraid to the point of tears and he kept telling them and their parents "facing your fears is what breaking is all about." Well, he decided to put his money where his mouth is and at the same testing, he broke 8 concrete top cap blocks. He chose this break because it scared him as much as the tiny boards of a beginner scares them. He wanted to put himself in the same situation and face fears along with them.
Enjoy!

A.D. Alexis speed breaks 2 concrete blocks:
A.D. Alexis is a red belt and cerified instructor at our dojo. He leads by example and sets a blistering pace! This was quite an impressive break, done during the 2008 "Fun Day" tournament. Keep in mind that it's a SPEED break, meaning there's nothing supporting the blocks. Even with a lot of power, if he's not fast enough, he'll just knock the bricks over instead of breaking them.
Enjoy!

Andrew Higier break 3 concrete blocks:
Andrew is without argument our "Kick King;" light, quick and flexible in the legs. But here he demonstrates he also knows what he's doing with his hands. Here he makes himself "heavy," still very quick and strong as a hydraulic press. Once it was over, he himself couldn't believe he'd done it. Oh he did it alright!
Enjoy!
Andrew Higier 3 Block Break |
Seven Wade copies hero Andrew by breaking 3 "fake" blocks:
Master Jeff's son Seven has become fascinated by Andrew's 3 block break. He watches it sometimes half an hour at a time, studying the technique and memorizing every movement. Here, he'd decided he wanted to make his own video, "just like Andrew." Notice that he even takes a few "set up" gestures, just like Andrew. Also, the first time we shot it, we yelled "YAY SEVEN!" He rebuked us, saying "NO I'M ANDREW!" And so, as you can hear on the video, we yell "YAY ANDREW!" With that he was very happy. Also, on YouTube, some people have music behind their breaking videos. So Seven wanted music too. We tried to get him to go with heavy metal or something aggressive - but he insisted on "This Old Man." So it goes.
Enjoy!
